This national park is located in the vast, wild heart of the Kalahari. If you stick to the South African side of the park, you don't need a 4x4 to explore the sandy tracks. A high-clearance vehicle is also okay. The roads follow the ancient, dry riverbeds of the Nossob and Auob, where you have the best chance of spotting black-maned lions, cheetahs, and vast herds of gemsbok.

Daily Conservation Fees (Per person, per day):

  • South African Citizens/Residents (with ID): R120

  • SADC Nationals (with valid passport): R240

  • Standard International Visitors: R480

  • Wild Card Holders: FREE
