The trail begins at the Algeria campsite and is a well-marked 6-kilometer round trip that should take you about three to four hours to complete. You'll find the path is quite steep in sections, providing a moderate challenge, but the reward at the end is more than worth the effort. A permit is required for this hike, which can be obtained at the reserve office in Algeria for a fee of R85 per person.
