It is a cable car that goes to the top of Mount Teide, Spain's highest peak, at an altitude of 3,555 meters (11,663 feet). The journey to the top takes about 8 minutes. 

Hours of work are from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm every day in summer, in late fall-winter-early spring from 9 to 5 pm. But hours may change also due to the weather and school breaks, double check opening hours on their website.

It is better to purchase tickets online in advance to make sure you get in and don’t wait at the bottom but tickets for sale are also available at the cable car station.
