The Bueng Bua Wood Boardwalk in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is a stunning hidden gem stretching over the picturesque Thung Sam Roi Yot marsh.
ENTRY FEE: 200 THB (it’s within Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and the entry fee includes ALL the sights in the National Park if visited on the same day - just make sure to save your ticket! I recommend visiting Phraya Nakhon Cave and Khao Daeng Viewpoint on the same day!).
BEST TIME TO GO: if you go in February-March the lake will be covered in lotus blooms 🥹🪷. However, this was in November and as you can see it’s still absolutely gorgeous! Anytime of day is ok but I recommend to go to the other places on the same day first, and then go here for sunset for the most magical light!
There is a watchtower halfway through the boardwalk and that is where these "drone-like" photos are taken. No drone needed for this place!
The lake is home to several birds 🦢 that you’ll see as you walk along the boardwalk. There are over 300 bird species recorded in the area, so it's also a birdwatcher's paradise!
