Start your walk by following the fence next to Plakias Bay Hotel and take the second path on the right, where you’ll see a sign for Kalypso. The trail gradually ascends and becomes steeper. When you reach a gate, walk up to it and pass through. Continue along the marked path with red dots, which will lead you downhill. Keep following the red dots until you arrive at a paved road.

Turn right and follow the road downhill. You’ll pass the entrance to Kalypso, and after a short distance, you’ll see a set of steps leading up after a parking area. Climb the steps and take in the breathtaking view of Kalypso Beach. From here, follow the dirt road that will guide you to Damnoni Beach.

After passing the small harbor of Damnoni, turn right towards the main Damnoni Beach. Walk over the wooden bridge to reach Damnoni Taverna, where you can choose to stop for lunch or continue your hike. If you continue, turn left and walk towards the parking area.

From the parking zone, take the second street on the left, then immediately turn right onto a small unpaved road. After about 100 meters, the path makes a sharp left turn—follow it uphill. At the next junction, take the third road on the right and continue following the signs for Plakias. Then, take the first left.

After passing a single house, turn right—there is usually a sign pointing to Plakias. Cross the field, making sure to close any gates behind you, and walk through olive groves. When you see a downhill path on your right, follow it. Then take an immediate left, followed by another right, descending back towards Plakias Bay Hotel.
