What to order
Scarlet prawns, garlic shrimp, clams and giant prawn, plus the famous crab and a prego sandwich at the end.
Why it’s here
One of Lisbon’s most famous seafood restaurants, known for top-quality seafood served simply and fast. A must-visit for seafood lovers, popular with both locals and tourists.
Tip
It gets very busy, so go early or right when it opens to avoid long queues. You can also book ahead with a deposit per person (around €25 per person and it’s deducted from the bill), which we recommend. Service is fast and lively rather than relaxed, so order a few dishes to share and come hungry. This is a great experience in Lisbon.
A must-visit for seafood — but there are also some smaller, less touristy spots we loved in the full guide.
