The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum (NGBIWM) is a unique and exciting destination in Baltimore, Maryland. Located in East North Avenue, the museum spans the history of African Americans from Ancient Africa to present day. It includes 150 life-like wax figures that capture great leaders such as Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as a full-sized re-creation of a 19th century slave ship. Visitors can experience interactive programming, learn the importance of their history, and gain deeper insight into significant contributions made by people of African descent. NGBIWM is remarkable institution that is sure to captivate, educate, and inspire all its visitors.
