Reintal is a picturesque valley in the Bavarian Alps, known for its stunning natural beauty and rugged terrain. It's a popular spot for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. With its lush green meadows, crystal-clear streams, and towering mountains, Reintal offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking a taste of alpine paradise.

This long but moderate hike begins with the dramatic Partnachklamm, then follows the river all the way past the Bockhütte to the Reintalangerhütte. Both huts are serviced and offer food and drinks.

The round trip covers around 28 km and takes about 8 hours of walking time. Although not technically difficult, the distance requires good fitness. The trail has gentle elevation, no climbing or steep uphill parts.

You can stay overnight at the Reintalangerhütte – but a reservation is usually required. The hut is known for its excellent food and is the first in the Alps to serve regional organic products. Wear sturdy shoes, bring sun protection in summer, and rain gear if the weather looks uncertain.
