Tempelhofer Feld, located in Berlin is a public urban park and historic military parade ground. This vast space covers over 355 hectares of the former Tempelhof Airport making it the world’s largest inner-city park. Tempelhofer Feld opened up to the public in May 2010 and since then has been popular for various activities such as kite-surfing, barbecuing, skateboarding, jogging, and cycling. One can also find the oldest poplar tree known in Berlin, which stood since the time of King Frederick the Great.
