The Congress Trail in Sequoia National Park is a must-visit for nature lovers looking to get up close and personal with some seriously massive trees. This 2.9-mile loop takes you through the heart of the Giant Forest, where you'll find yourself surrounded by majestic giant sequoias. The trail is paved, making it an easy stroll for all ages, and you can even spot some wildlife along the way. Just remember to leave your furry friends at home, as dogs aren't allowed on this trail. So lace up those hiking boots and get ready to be wowed by nature's giants!

Tip: Either take the shuttle to the accessibility parking lot, or park just south of the parking lot along General Sherman Hwy to make the hike 2.0 miles as opposed to parking at the standard parking lot which makes the trail 2.9 miles. GPS coordinates: 36.57683° N, 118.75527° W

Pet-friendly: No, pets are not permitted.

Soft adventure: Yes, absolutely!

Seasonality: Technically all seasons, but the roads often close during the winter.

Park entry fee: $35 per vehicle
