Bassin Bleu is one of the most accessible natural pools on the east coast, and one of the busiest for that same reason. Located just outside Saint-Benoît, it only takes a few minutes to walk from the car park to the water: a bright, blue basin fed by a small waterfall and surrounded by lush vegetation. Locals swim here on weekends, and it’s a popular spot for families, picnic groups, and the occasional brave cliff jumper.
Despite its popularity, it still feels like nature. You’ll hear the cascade, smell the mossy trees, and see dragonflies hovering over the water. It’s not the place for solitude, but it’s perfect if you want a scenic stop without a long hike or if you’re traveling with kids.
👉 Go early in the morning on a weekday. The water is clearest before the crowds stir up sediment, and you’ll have a better chance at peace.
