What it’s really like:

De Vos is my favourite, affordable villa that can also include affordable meals. It's a beachfront residence that works best if you want privacy and space rather than hotel-style services.

You can book just one bure for the night, or book out the entire villa for a family function or small wedding, with the standalone bures having multiple beds in each. I believe they can accommodate over 20 people per night.

The meals here are simple and delicious, made with local ingredients. We bought home a few crayfish, and Toni had no problems adding them to the night's menu.

There's one shared pool, and some rooms have smaller plunge pools in the front.

De Vos is not fancy, but it's private, quiet, and the staff are exceptional.
