Head to West Beach on the north west of Berneray.
Walk along the shore, swim or picnic if weather allows.

West Beach on Berneray, Uist, is a breath taking stretch of white sand that seems to go on forever, kissed by bright turquoise waters and backed by elegant, flowing machair grass. Walking through the sand dunes and arriving to find the beach completely empty was unforgettable.
