Some of the best freediving I've ever done!! If you love grey nurses, this spot is for you!

Bushrangers Bay, located near Bundeena in the Royal National Park, NSW, is a stunning and relatively secluded spot; known for its crystal-clear waters, rocky outcrops, and abundant marine life.

One of the highlights is its unique marine ecosystem, including its Grey Nurse Sharks while free diving. These sharks, known for their intimidating appearance but docile nature, can often be spotted in the deeper waters around the bay (approx 10m deep), especially during certain times of the year.

The bay also offers a peaceful beach, perfect for relaxing or picnicking after a swim or dive. The surrounding area features coastal walking tracks and lush bushland, making it a great spot for a day trip to connect with nature. With its combination of stunning scenery, exciting wildlife encounters, and relatively easy access, Bushrangers Bay is a must-visit for anyone seeking adventure or a quiet escape in nature.
