If you’re road-tripping the Eyre Peninsula and looking for a dreamy free camp, the stretch along Flinders View Drive between Point Lowly and Fitzgerald Bay is unreal. You can pull up right on the waterfront and, if you’re lucky, findd your own private little slice of paradise. It’s one of those spots where you wake up, slide open the van door, and just sit there in awe of the glassy water and pastel sunrise.

The wildlife here is next level—friendly kangaroos hopping about in the mornings, dolphins cruising through the shallows, and a peaceful energy that makes you want to stay way longer than planned. Sunset is just as magic as sunrise, with the whole bay glowing in soft pinks and oranges.

There aren’t any facilities, but the trade-off is pure serenity. And yep, it’s pet-friendly, so your pup can enjoy the views too! Just be mindful of the local wildlife. Absolute must-stop if you’re heading through this way.
