Point Roadknight is hands down one of the best beginner surf spots on the Surf Coast. It’s a longboarder’s dream—small, rolling waves that break nice and slow over a super shallow sandy bottom. If you’re just getting into surfing, this is the place to build confidence without getting smashed by big sets.

It’s not just about the waves, though. The fishing off the point is pretty popular too—especially for salmon—so if you’ve got a rod, you might as well have a crack. And if you’re just here for the vibes, the sunrises and sunsets are next level, especially when the sky lights up over the water.

The beach is pet-friendly, but there are some restrictions at certain times of the year, so check the signs before letting the pup off-leash. Whether you’re surfing, fishing, or just soaking it all in, it’s a spot that never disappoints!
