This is a quick stop and perfect for travellers looking to stretch their legs after a long drive, whether you're heading into NSW or coming down from NSW and into Victoria. The McKenzie River Rainforest Walk is an easy 1km loop trail that takes you through the Bemm River Scenic Reserve over the McKenzie River on a couple swing bridges and boardwalks. The track is hardened gravel so most people should be able to do it without difficulty with only a few short hills and steps.
Park your car at the Rainforest Walk Picnic Area down an all-weather gravel access road to the walk and parking area. If you've got a caravan or longer vehicle I'd suggest parking at the rest area off Princes Highway (A1) and walking down this road to the car park as there's not much room to turn around.
