This place has got a bit of everything; family bike trail, loads of woodland walks, games cupboard, obstacle course and cafe. It’s got loads going on for all ages and it’s super family-friendly.
🚴♀️ Easy Bike Trails for Everyone
Bring the bikes and try the Explorer Trail—it’s a 2.2-mile circular loop that’s great for kids and all the family. It’s smooth, easy-going and open all year round.
🛝 Play Spots & Den Building
There’s a fun wooden obstacle course in the woods just off the Meadow with balance beams and swing bars—best for kids aged 4 and up. And if your little ones love building dens, they’ll be in their element in the next woodland area.
🎾 Games in the Meadow
In summer, Heath Meadow turns into a bit of a mini sports zone. There’s a cupboard full of games stuff; cricket, football, badminton, you name it and it’s all free to use!
☕ Café
When you need a snack or caffeine fix, the café has hot drinks, snacks and sweet treats. There’s outdoor seating too, including some covered areas at Heath Barn if the weather turns British.
Toilets & Baby Changing: Right near the café in Heath Meadow
Parking: Free if you're a member, £5 charge otherwise
Pushchair-Friendly: Yep—most of the paths are buggy-approved
Mobility Vehicle: Available to borrow if needed
Dogs: Welcome! Keep them on a lead in busy spots but they can roam off-lead on the trails
Whether you’re up for a gentle ride, want to let the kids go full woodland explorer, or just fancy a walk and a warm drink, this place is ideal for a laid-back family day out.
