When in the Faroe Islands, set aside a full day for this one, Kallur Lighthouse on Kalsoy is seriously worth it. To get there, you’ll take a short ferry ride, drive through some super narrow tunnels, and then hike for about an hour from the tiny village of Trøllanes. The hike is about 3.2 miles round trip.
The trail can get muddy and has a few steep spots, but the views along the northern cliffs are absolutely otherworldly. Heads up: there’s a 200 DKK hiking fee per person at the start of the trail.
