Kalimera! My name is Athina. I am from the Netherlands but lived since 2020 in Greece. My parents always took me on vacation to different places in Greece since I was 4 years old. But we stuck to the island of Karpathos where my parents bought a holiday home in 2004.

Since then, we have gone to Karpathos twice a year. When I met my boyfriend (now husband), he also fell in love with the island and in 2017 we decided to buy our own house on the island. At that time just for holidays but in 2020 we decided to take the plunge and swap the Netherlands for the Greek island of Karpathos.

With a lot of care and love for the island, we have compiled all our knowledge of the past years into The Karpathos guide. Every place we have visited (and photographed) ourselves. The Karpathos guide is a guide full of personal tips and recommendations from a – now – local.
