This beach stretches for miles, covered in fine sand as far as the eye can see. The fort sits on a rocky island in the sea. You see a massive coastal structure built by Napoleon — not exactly beautiful, all concrete and weight — but somehow still impressive for photographers. It’s easily accessible at low tide, which makes the walk feel like a little adventure. You cross a wide, rocky area surrounded by the sea and fresh coastal air. Just be mindful of the tides — it’s best to head back before the water rises, as the path quickly disappears beneath the waves.

🌊 Tip: Go at low tide for the best view, but stay alert — the sea comes back quickly. Check the tideschart.
