A 37-meter steam trawler, requisitioned by the British army in 1915 to serve as a minesweeper. After more than 100 years, the wreck of the Lord Grey is still visible during low spring tides on the beach of Tardinghen. More or less visible depending on the seasons and the years, the wreck has been lying on the beach for 97 years, serving as a natural aquarium at low tide. You can easily spot crabs, flatfish, starfish, and more.

🌊 Best time to visit: During low spring tide — when the wreck is fully visible
⚠️ Tip: Check the tide schedule before visiting — the wreck disappears quickly under the sea
