The hike from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock is a stunning ridge trail near Lucerne that offers breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. Starting with a ride on the steepest funicular in the world, hikers can then take a chair lift up to the ridge and enjoy a scenic 2-hour hike along the trail. The trail features steep slopes and uneven terrain, so it's best suited for hikers with steady footing. At the end of the hike, you'll reach the Fronalpstock viewpoint with a restaurant and playground, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings before heading back down to Stoos.

🛤 By Public Transport:
Take a train to Schwyz.
Bus #501 to Stoosbahn Talstation (Stoos base station).
Ride the Stoosbahn, the steepest funicular in the world, up to Stoos village.
From Stoos, take the Klingenstock chairlift to the trailhead.
🚗 By Car:
Park at the Stoosbahn base station in Schlattli (paid parking).
From there, take the Stoosbahn up to Stoos.
