Loch Garten is a freshwater loch located in the Cairngorms National Park. It is renowned for its beautiful scenery of tall pine trees, and for being home to an RSPB nature reserve, where visitors can view the majestic and elusive Osprey.

You can visit the Osprey Centre nearby which provides telescopes and even offers the exciting opportunity to watch the dramatic courtship of these incredible creatures on the nest via live video. In addition, the surrounding nature reserve provides plenty of other wildlife experiences, such as red squirrels, small birds and wigeons.

The loch is also popular with cyclists as it features on many trails through the park.
