When travelling along Lasseter Highway take the turn off to Mulga Park Road.

This turn takes you onto a dirt road and if you drive roughly one kilometre you will reach a small first rise. Once on top of this small rise you'll see a clearing to the left and right where you can get a stunning view of the iconic Mount Conner, also known as Fool-a-ru because its often mistaken for Uluru due to its similar appearance from a distance.

This place isn't known by many travellers however we found it to be a great place to break up the drive when travelling along Lasseter Highway and enjoy some peaceful moments in the desert.
