Dimforsen is a powerful waterfall surrounded by forest and typical northern Swedish nature. To reach it, you’ll need to walk a short distance from the parking area. A marked trail leads you through the woods, and after just a little while you’ll hear the roar of the water before you see it.

The trail is easy to follow and makes the visit feel like a small adventure. Once at the falls, you’ll find a viewpoint to watch the rushing water and take photos. The area around the waterfall is natural and a bit rugged, so wear sturdy shoes if it’s wet.

This isn’t a long hike, but it’s more than just a quick roadside stop.
