The Ha'penny Bridge, officially known as the Liffey Bridge, is a famous pedestrian bridge in Dublin. Built in 1816, it was originally named after the Duke of Wellington but later became known as the Ha'penny Bridge due to the toll charged for crossing it. The bridge was designed by John Windsor and made of cast iron, with its iconic white color restored during renovations in 2001. Despite some controversy over the removal of love locks, the bridge remains a beloved landmark in Dublin, attracting thousands of pedestrians daily.
