The Sky Road in Clifden is a stunning 16km loop that offers panoramic views over Clifden Bay and its surrounding islands. Visitors can choose between the upper and lower roads, with the upper road being the most popular for its sweeping vistas. Driving clockwise also allows for the best views! The most popular spot to stop along the way is the Wild Atlantic Way discovery point at the top. The views will leave you gobsmacked, and you may even meet a Connemara pony or two! Just be cautious on the narrow roads and enjoy the beauty of Connemara along the way!
