Aasleagh Falls in Mayo is a lovely waterfall located on the border between Galway and Mayo. Accessible via a slightly hidden entrance point, the falls are most impressive after heavy rain. Visitors should be cautious when crossing the road to reach the viewing area, as the car park is situated on a dangerous bend. David Attenborough even made a visit here to talk about eels. During salmon and trout season you can even watch the fish try to swim up the falls! Make sure to stop at this beautiful Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point when in Connemara!
