A Quirky Stop in Paeroa

I did a taste test of New Zealand’s iconic L&P on TikTok and gave it a 7 out of 10, and, oh boy, did that trigger some of you Kiwis! Some agreed some didn’t, but during the video, a lot of people said I had to check out the Giant L&P bottle, so when I was near Paeroa, I swung by.

This is a bit of a quirky stop, but if you're in the area, why not? I’m used to big sculptures like this, Australians are all about them too, haha. The Giant Lemon & Paeroa Bottle stands 6.8 meters tall, and it’s definitely a photo op waiting to happen. Originally built as a space rocket in 1967, it was transformed into the iconic L&P bottle in 1969, and it’s become a symbol of local pride. So, pop by, take a snap, and enjoy this fun slice of New Zealand charm.
