During my road trip around Tasmania, I tried lavender-flavored ice cream for the first time, and now I can't resist stopping at every lavender farm I pass to try it again!  CCT Lavender Farm & Cafe is no exception, and not only does it serve up that delightful ice cream, but the farm also offers a free chance to stroll through the fields and really soak in the beautiful lavender.

Walking through the lavender always reminds me of my grandma's garden, which is filled with the stuff. It’s such a nostalgic experience, and I’ll never pass up the opportunity to relive it. Plus, the farm makes for some seriously Instagram-worthy shots. 

Just a heads up though, the farm is only open during the summer months, from December to March, so it’s worth planning your visit around that window if you’re keen to make the detour.
