If you're tackling the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, you'll pass by Ketetahi Falls at the very end of the trail. But if you're not doing the full 20 km, you can still visit these falls. From the end of the crossing, it’s just a 1.8 km return walk, taking about 30 minutes to complete. The falls cascade down a rocky cliff, surrounded by lush greenery, and create a beautiful, peaceful spot to take in the natural beauty of the area. It’s a nice way to round off your adventure or just a great little detour if you're in the area.
