If you head down the winding road toward Granadella in Jávea, you’ll come across Mirador de la Granadella, a quiet lookout that feels like the edge of the world without being far from home. You park by the Granadella turn-off, follow Pic Tort street, maybe weave along narrow curves and then the view opens up. From this spot you can see Cala Granadella below, with its turquoise-blue water embraced by cliffs, the ruins of the eighteenth-century Castell de la Granadella to one side and the “Morro del Castillo” point just south of the bay.

What I like most: it’s peaceful (especially outside summer), there’s often just you, the sound of wind, birds, the sea below. Good light in the morning or later afternoon when the sun softens. Perfect for photos, for thinking, for sitting quietly and taking in that mix of sea, stone, blue & green.
