Cala Blanca, also known locally as La Caleta, is one of those peaceful spots that feels like your private stretch of coast, especially compared to Jávea’s main beaches. It’s made up of two small coves separated by rocky shoreline, with white limestone cliffs that glow under the sun and frame turquoise water so clear you can see the seabed.
The first cove is larger and easier to reach by car, with parking about 100 meters away. It’s mostly pebbles and rock, with some flat areas to lay your towel. The second cove is smaller and a bit more secluded, reachable on foot from the first or via stairs from nearby viewpoints. It tends to be quieter, perfect for swimming, snorkelling or just floating in calm water. There’s a beach bar called La Caleta nearby (a short walk) for refreshments, but don’t expect large facilities. This is one for nature lovers. Best times to visit are morning or later afternoon, when parking is easier and the light makes the cliffs and water look their absolute best.
