If you want a view that feels like you’ve slipped away from the hustle but haven’t driven hours, Mirador Cap Negre in Jávea is one of my favourites. It sits atop a small hill off Calle Benjamín Britten, with a short walk (gravel path, under 200 m) from where you park. It’s easy to reach but still feels tucked away. From there you look out over Cala Portixol and Portixol Island, Cap Prim and far off toward Cabo de San Antonio, with cliff faces dropping down toward the sea. The coast feels rugged, the light excellent for photos, especially during sunrise or sunset when colours shift and calm sets in.

Locals like it because it’s peaceful, few tourists, a bench or two to sit, sea breeze and the scent of pines mixed with salt air. It’s not just a spot to see something pretty, it’s a place to pause.
