Cap de la Nau is one of those viewpoints that instantly makes you appreciate the sheer scale of the Mediterranean. Sitting at the very tip of the Xàbia coast, it’s the closest point on the Spanish mainland to Ibiza, just 85 kilometres away by sea. The cape marks the border between the gulfs of Valencia and Alicante, giving you fantastic views in every direction.
At the base of the cliffs, you can explore the Cova dels Orguens, a natural sea cave that hints at the area’s rugged history. Above, the iconic Cabo de la Nao lighthouse stands proudly atop the cliff, 20 metres high and 122 metres above sea level, its light reaching up to 23 miles. The combination of turquoise waters, rocky cliffs and the lighthouse makes this a must‑see for photographers, nature lovers or anyone just wanting to feel on top of the world.
Access by car is straightforward and a short walk from the parking area leads you to the best viewpoints. On a clear day, the vistas are unforgettable, making Cap de la Nau perfect for a scenic drive or a relaxed stop along your Jávea coastline route.
