Ok guys, this is probably our all time absolutely favorite hiking trail in all of Alaska! Reed Lakes Trailhead is a popular spot in Alaska, known for its epic views and access to a ton of hiking trails. Nestled in the mountains, it offers outdoor adventure seekers a chance to explore the breathtaking scenery of the area. The trail leads hikers through lush landscapes, with opportunities to see wildlife and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the turquoise blue lakes. It's a great place for both seasoned hikers and those looking for a leisurely stroll with an edge. It will wear you out, but it's worth it! With its picturesque surroundings, Reed Lakes is definitely a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience the raw backdrop of Alaska.
NOTE: you can also tent camp out here for an even better experience! Your hike will take you 4-6 hours depending on how long you want to hike. There's a lower and an upper Reed Lake with a jaw-dropping waterfall in-between them. Also note that this hike does involve some bouldering, but it's not too bad as long as you take your time! This trail is so worth it! Make time to check it out!
