The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff stands out for its amazing location high on Sulphur Mountain, right next to the Banff Upper Hot Springs and Gondola (both must do things in Banff!)

The resort offers exceptional views of the Canadian Rockies everywhere around, fine dining in multiple restaurants (Eden is the only CAA/AAA Five Diamond award winning restaurant in Western Canada) and a luxury spa. We also highly recommend their breakfast and pasta buffets at Primrose!

Note that the hotel is about 4 km away from the downtown - perfect for those looking for a peaceful getaway, but not ideal if you want to wander around downtown often.
