One of the most surreal spots on the island. To get there, a short 10-minute walk takes you through a landscape where the contrast between red rock, black sand, and blue ocean signals that you're arriving somewhere magical. Lago Verde is a small emerald-green lagoon separated from the ocean by a narrow strip of black volcanic rock. The colour comes from algae, and it's genuinely unlike anything you've ever seen. We were literally left speechless.
