A large ryokan on the hills above Aizuwakamatsu.
Spacious Japanese-style rooms, large public baths (tattoos NOT allowed) give this place a more traditional resort feel. Dinner and breakfast are delicious buffet-style with a wide selection of local dishes. A good option if you want to experience a classic ryokan stay with onsen facilities.

If you came without a car, you can still explore the city using the Aizu Loop Bus, which has a stop near the ryokan. The official website has timetables, and further down the page you can also find an English map with all bus stops.
