A charming historical street lined with traditional kura-style buildings—look for the white walls and black wooden grid patterns that were designed to help protect against fire. This area used to be Matsumoto’s merchant district, and today it’s filled with cozy cafés, craft shops, galleries, and sake stores. Many of the shops sell handmade or locally made items, making it a great place to pick up something special.

The most interesting part of the street starts HERE (google maps) and continues up to HERE (google maps).
