It’s a small, cozy ramen spot with warm vibes and super kind staff - and honestly one of the most delicious ramen restaurants I’ve found in the area. Their specialties are shoyu (soy sauce-based broth) and shio (salt-based broth) ramen. I tried both, but my absolute favorite was the shoyu ramen with duck - that’s the one in the first photo. The broth is rich and deep in flavor without being heavy.
Donku is only a short walk from the station, so it’s an easy stop if you’re arriving in or leaving Nagano. Definitely worth it.
