One of the most incredible cherry blossom spots in Nagano. A spacious hillside park with over 500 sakura trees, wide open lawns, and plenty of benches to sit and take in the view.

Right in the middle of it all stands a 8-meter-tall Tengu statue. Locals say he was once a mountain monk who trained so hard, he became a protective spirit. Now he watches over the town with his giant nose and wooden sandals.

How to get there from Nagano Station by public transport:
Take the Shinano Railway to Togura Station (about 25 minutes).

📍Togura Station

After arriving, you’ll need to walk uphill for 15–20 minutes - comfortable shoes recommended.
