A museum dedicated to the Aomori Nebuta Festival, one of Japan’s most famous festivals. Inside, you can see several enormous Nebuta floats up close, learn how they are constructed, and explore exhibits covering the festival’s history and traditions.
Even if you’re not visiting Aomori during the festival itself, this is one of the best ways to experience its scale and artistry. Seeing the floats from just a few meters away gives a much better appreciation for their size and craftsmanship than photos ever could.
