Main hall of a beautiful 1300-year-old temple located in the hot spring town of Kinosaki.
The Temple is extremely interesting to visit as it holds a lot of sacred relics (highly recommend checking out its website for the explanations in English) and it is believed to be the guardian Temple of Kinosaki town's hot springs.

Historically a person would need to get here to receive a “yu-shaku”, or hot spring ladle that would serve as an entry ticket to the hot springs. Today the ladle is not needed, but you can still buy it here, which is a pretty unique souvenir in my opinion.

*Extra fee is required to enter the main hall (personally I think it is worth it).
