For those staying the night in Puhoi the Puhoi Cottage Tearooms are a great option for camping and very accommodating to TA hikers (+ just a short walk from the pub).

Camping is on a grassed area behind the cafe and currently $10 per night.

The tearooms offer dinner, breakfast, drinking water and charging facilities so if you’re spending the night make sure to drop in for fresh scones in the morning before heading back off in trail.
