Waiopehu Hut is a modern backcountry hut located in the Tararua Ranges. It's a cozy little spot nestled among the trees offering hikers a place to rest and get out of bad weather but offers next to no space for camping.

This hut is popular with local tramping groups and can get quite full particularly on weekends.
