Oreti Beach Track is a 30km stretch along Oreti Beach and is the last beach walk for the Te Araroa trail!

Starting from Riverton, hikers can enjoy coastal views and will have just one final water crossing (the Waimatuku Stream) around the Km 2,987 mark which is an easy shallow crossing at low tide.

The track ends with a roughly 5km road walk to Invercargill where you can again resupply so you really only need to carry food and water for the day.
