Ponta do Sol Bridge (Old Pier)

Ponta do Sol is already one of Madeira’s prettiest coastal towns – colorful houses, palm-lined promenade, and the island’s sunniest microclimate. But one of my favorite spots is the old pier/bridge that juts into the Atlantic.

It’s a popular sunset spot for locals – people sit on the wall with beers or poncha, watch kids jump into the water, and photographers line up for that perfect golden light shot.
