Quoyness Greenhill Broch, located in Hoy, Orkney, is a fascinating site with a rich history. This broch, dating back to the Iron Age, stands at about 4 meters high and has been partially eroded by coastal forces. Excavations in the late 19th century revealed burial cists on top of the mound, indicating post-broch use. Human bones were also uncovered in 1979 due to erosion. Despite its gradual disappearance, Quoyness Greenhill Broch remains a significant archaeological site worth exploring.
